VISIONEER ANNOUNCES STROBE XP 450 WORKGROUP SHEETFED SCANNER

Visioneer, a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, today announced the new Visioneer Strobe XP 450, a compact workgroup scanner that can scan 20 pages per minute and includes a built-in 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF).
Visioneer offers the document imaging market a family of sub-20 page per minute workgroup scanners targeted at cost-conscious businesses. The Strobe XP 450, the latest addition to Visioneer's document imaging product line, is an extremely fast colour sheetfed scanner. It is the ideal distributed scanning solution for workgroup and front-office applications.

The Strobe XP 450 is a fast, simplex scanner that can be connected to any computer or laptop quickly and easily via the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface. The Strobe XP 450 has a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi with 48-bit colour and a built-in 50-page ADF that can scan up to 20 pages per minute.* The ADF can handle paper and photos from business cards (5cm x 9cm) up to legal size documents. The scanner's dimensions are 15cm (d) x 34cm (w) x 31cm (h) giving it one of the smallest footprints of any ADF scanner on the market. The Strobe XP 450 includes Visioneer's award-winning OneTouch software and a TWAIN driver.
The generous software bundle includes ScanSoft's PaperPort Deluxe 9.0 software, ScanSoft's TextBridge® Pro OCR, and ArcSoft® PhotoImpression(tm). Users can automatically scan any document to Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF) using the included PaperPort software.
The Visioneer Strobe XP 450 is available from Monday and the RRP is £349.99.
*Scan speed may vary depending on motherboard I/O chipset, resolution, bit-depth and is based on attaching the scanner via Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface. |
