Visioneer, a leader in intelligent imaging solutions has today announced the Strobe™ XP 100 - it's first USB powered sheet-fed scanner. Measuring just 3.8 x 5.1 x 28.9 cm and weighing only 300g, the Strobe XP 100 is the perfect imaging solution for anyone looking for a truly flexible and mobile scanning solution. The Strobe XP 100 has all of the great features of Visioneer's original Strobe with several new improvements, including updated drivers to maximize USB performance and reliability, a higher resolution and better colour bit-depth and because it is USB powered there is no need for a power adaptor! A small footprint and loaded with features, the Strobe XP 100 makes scanning documents and photos fast, easy and affordable for only £149.99 (inc VAT).

With Visioneer's patented Paper-driven™ and AutoLaunch™ technologies, Visioneer Strobe XP 100 users simply feed in documents and images into the front of the scanner and Strobe XP 100 automatically turns itself on, launches the PaperPort software and instantly places the document on the PaperPort Desktop ready for use.
With an optical resolution of up to 600dpi and 36-bit internal color, the Strobe XP 100 is a powerful tool to help users organize the paper in their life. The scanner also comes with a travel bag making it easy to pack-up and take on the road. Strobe XP 100 is tightly integrated with ScanSoft PaperPort® Deluxe™ 8.0, ScanSoft TextBridge® Pro 9 OCR and ArcSoft® PhotoImpression™ 3.0. |
