Visioneer, a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, have today announced the Visioneer PhotoPort TV 100, a new TV-based digital photo appliance that allows users to easily, view, edit, share and personalise photo albums on their TV using pictures taken with a digital camera. PhotoPort TV 100 consists of an intelligent card viewer, wireless keyboard, remote control, power adapter and video cable for only £79.99. All the user needs is a memory card with digital images on it, and a TV!
The Visioneer PhotoPort TV 100 brings the benefits of instant photography to digital camera users by allowing them to view, edit and share digital photos without the use of a PC. Simply connect the memory card viewer to the video-in connector on a TV, insert a SmartMedia or CompactFlash memory card containing photos, and use the wireless keyboard or remote control to create personalised photo albums.
The current solutions for creating digital photo albums are PC dependent. They are slow and require the user to go through many tedious steps to download photos into the PC to enable the user to edit and show a simple slide PhotoPort TV 100 is the solution to this problem. Using your TV, PhotoPort TV 100 is the ‘instant photography’ solution for digital cameras. It comes with a full-function wireless keyboard, with the usual function keys, across the top and side of the keyboard, have been programmed for the most common image editing tasks.

The basic functions of PhotoPort TV 100 enables users to easily and comfortably show their digital photos on their TV but the real fun comes from creating a personalised photo album to share with others. Here are just a few of the things you can do:
- Add a captions in different colours and fonts
- Add backgrounds and borders
- Change the size and shape of a photo or caption
- Crop and move a photos and captions
- Rotate photos
- Add and remove pictures or rearrange the order of items
- Add titles and end pages
Then after creating an album, there are several things users can do with it.
- Show it on TV
- Put it on to a video tape
- Copy albums to another memory card
PhotoPort TV 100 can be used in many different ways. Here are just a few:
