Visioneer, a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, today announced the new Visioneer 9450 PDF office productivity scanner, the latest addition to Visioneer's Professional Scanner Series. The Visioneer 9450 PDF is the perfect tool to turn paper documents into PDF files.
Key features of the Visioneer 9450 PDF include quality colour and black and white scanning with 600 dpi optical resolution, robust 25 page automatic document feeder (ADF) that can process up to 8 pages per minute in 200 dpi black and white mode. The scanner also includes industry leading applications for creating a paperless office, including the full version of Adobe Acrobat 5.0, ScanSoft PaperPort Deluxe 8, ScanSoft TextBridge Pro 9 OCR, ArcSoft PhotoImpression, a TWAIN driver and a 50% smaller footprint than competing models.

The Visioneer 9450 PDF offers departments and workgroups uncompromising quality, reliability and flexibility. It features an optical resolution of 600x1200 dpi and 42-bit internal colour. The scanner's flatbed accommodates photos, books, or fragile items, while the automatic document feeder handles a wide variety of papers, ranging from small 4.5x5.5 cards to legal documents 14 inches in length. The ADF uses a 180-degree paper path, eliminating the side mounted output tray found on competing models and reducing the footprint by 50%. This makes it small enough to be used on any desktop, allowing decentralized scanning with outstanding image quality and speed.
