Visioneer, a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, has today announced the introduction of the Visioneer 8700 USB scanner which is perfect for both beginners
and experts due to its ease of use and powerful features.
The Visioneer OneTouch 8700 USB has everything you’ve come to expect from a Visioneer scanner, 48-bit colour, OneTouch buttons and great software but the Visioneer 8700 gives you more than this. With an optical resolution of 1200 x 4800 dpi, it eliminates jagged edges and can capture the very finest detail from your original.
The Visioneer 8700 USB also features our revolutionary FlashBack Bi-directional AutoScan Technology, which makes scanning ultra fast. With FlashBack AutoScan enabled, the scanner moves one way to pre-scan the image area quickly, automatically crops to the edges of the photo and the reverses direction and performs the final high resolution scan on the return trip.
The OneTouch 8700 comes bundled with the following software:
- ScanSoft Paper Deluxe– to store documents and photographs
- TextBridge Pro– Professional Optical Character Recognition
- MGI PhotoSuite III SE – allows for easy and powerful image editing
The Visioneer OneTouch 8700 is expected to hit the shops in towards the end of October with an RRP of £99.99.
