Visioneer, a leader in intelligent imaging solutions, have announced the introduction of the new OneTouch 5600 USB colour flatbed scanner. This exciting new additional to the Visioneer scanner range features dedicated buttons for scanning, copying and emailing. It has an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi and true 42-bit colour depth, that's an amazing 4.3 trillion different colours. The 5600 not only performs well but looks good too, as it comes with a stylish smoke coloured cover.
Commenting on the release, European Sales Director, Peter Trapmore says "The OneTouch 5600 USB marks a major breakthrough in scanning for the home market. It provides true 42-bit colour scanning for only £69.99".
Visioneer's OneTouch scanners are designed for ease of use, even for first-time scanner users. They all come with pre-configured buttons to scan at the optimal settings for the most common tasks, so you can start scanning immediately. The buttons on the 5600 are - scan, copy & email. More advanced users are also able to customize the buttons for even more power.
The OneTouch 5600 comes with the following leading software bundles:
- ScanSoft Paper Deluxe 7.0 - to store documents and photographs
- TextBridge Pro 8.0 - Professional Optical Character Recognition
- MGI PhotoSuite III - allows for easy and powerful image editing
The OneTouch 5600 USB will be on sale in the UK from the end of March at a RRP of £69.99.
